Wattminder's on-going efforts include developing user-friendly smartphone apps that will simplify parameter value collection for our PV benchmark calculator. No more tedious lookup for zipcode or Latitude & Longitude, or compass or tilt sensors, or mapping software. Gadget lovers will appreciate the scientific experimentation aspect of getting an accurate benchmark output for his/her array, instantly.

Our secret sauce, a Complex Irradiance Photonmeter that captures 9 directional components of the Sun's energy at a site, offers a comprehensive and accurate total energy absorbed by an array. Combined, our benchmark and analytics will provide more accurate assessment of actual performance of a solar array.

Our other hardware resources in development will enable critical monitoring of larger, commercial, or utility-scale solar power sites; utilizing full suite of our knowledge base, fault-signature algorithms, dust-characterization, inference engine aided by artificial intelligence. With our collaborative partner, Carnegie Mellon University-West, we are in the midst of developing a cost-effective diagnosticweb-platform for solar power arrays, with a particular focus on partial shading detection. We are seeking other collaborative partners, and investors to help us commercialize these intellectual properties.

Lastly, if you are truly concerned with the performance of your array and are within 25 miles of Sunnyvale, we can make a site visit, with instruments to make a thorough inspection and assessment of the health status of your array for $500 to $1000, latter with a certified engineer-sealed document.
